Points in Niagara repeatedly go "orange" (fault) in the Workbench view, especially after an override is released or network interruptions occur. Point value shows but status indicator remains faulted even though the device is responding.
Communication delays, stale data from missed polling cycles, or residual fault state in the proxy extension buffer that hasn't been cleared.
Open the property sheet for the orange point in Workbench
Expand the Proxy Extension section and read the fault cause (communication error, write/read timeout, stale status)
